2017 Review

What a year we’ve had! So much has happened and I’ve been horrible at sharing it all with you. Between doctor and therapy appointments, our fund raiser, family events, pregnancy brain and nesting, I’ve had a difficult time focusing on pretty much everything. Hopefully this will give you a glimpse into the wonderful year we’ve had.

We were blessed with some exciting events!

First, this happened.

Then we discovered this!

We were able to meet this amazing family! Their beautiful daughter has the same mutated gene as Bryce.

For the first time in a very long time, Jus was together with ALL his brothers.

I was able to be there with my sister as she went through the temple for the first time.

This handsome boy turned THREE!

Bryce graduated from the Early Intervention program! 

Bryce had a few firsts. Some were great! Others. . . not so much.

We dyed Easter Eggs!

Carved a pumpkin and played in its guts.

Look who learned to sit on his own for a few seconds!

He drove his first car . . . in his sleep of course!

We went on our first road trip without Daddy. Just me, Bryce and a seven hour drive. Thankfully he slept most of the way!

Yes, I know he's not properly restrained. I was buckling him up and he looked so cute I just had to take a picture!

He went into Status. 

He caught pneumonia, which caused the status.

And led to his first airplane ride and overnight EEG.

Daddy took him Rock Hunting!

They found a Septarian Nodule!

Tried Bryce's fingers at painting! 

He went for a wagon ride!

We made so many wonderful memories!

Feeding the ducks is Bryce's favorite.

Nap time is better with a snuggle buddy.

 We said "see you later" to two very special people, Grandma and Grandpa Naylor.

We spent a good chunk of the year making and selling truffles as a fund raiser to go to a STXBP1 Meet and Greet in Disney World!

We only made a few messes.

Everything is better with sprinkles!

Every day was a gift!

Almost all of the Bernard cousins.

2017 went by so fast! We had many ups and a few downs. All in all, it was a wonderful year. I already know a few exciting things taking place in 2018, but am eager to see what else it sends our way.
